Most everyone who knows me personally knows about the chorus that I direct. (http://www.davidjohnsonchorus.com) But not all readers of my blog are aware of that “other side” of my life. So I thought I would share this exciting news.
On July 3 my chorus and I will be traveling to Cincinnati, Ohio, to participate in the World Choir Games. This is the equivalent of the Olympics for choral singing. Approximately one hundred countries will be represented and over three hundred choruses will be competing in twenty three events.
We are incredibly excited and honored to be a part of the first World Choir Games ever held in the United States.
ABCFamily Channel will be there filming for a special to be broadcast in August.
